01 COMMUNIQUE ANNOUNCES NEW VERSION OF I'M INTOUCHâ„¢ - REMOTE ACCESS SERVICE ENHANCEMENTS DELIVER REMOTE DESKTOP VIEWING EXPERIENCE THAT PARALLELS SITTING AT YOUR PC

Increased Speed And Feature Additions Increase The Flexibility To Work From Anywhere And Remain Productive While Away From The Office.

TORONTO, ON - December 16, 2003 -01 Communique Laboratory Inc. (TSX: ONE - www.imintouch.net), a leading remote access solutions provider, today announced the release of I'm InTouch Version 3.4. Delivering a virtual image of a distant PC's desktop to a remote user sitting at any computer connected to the Internet, a user has the ability to control and run any program or to change settings on their distant PC. Significant performance improvements have been implemented that speed the host computer's processing of a user's remote actions and the time that it takes to deliver the corresponding changes or refreshed view of those changes back to the user's local PC through the I'm InTouch desktop viewer. New features include the ability to size the desktop viewer on the local PC to individual preference and to cut and paste text between computers. Designed for small and medium business, I'm InTouch is an easy to set-up and cost-effective remote access service that gives any employee the flexibility to work away from the office and still retain access to the important information and programs they use in a typical day at the office.

"According to research by IDC, by the end of 2006, approximately two-thirds of workers in North America will be on the go and will need the ability to untether from the physical network of the office, yet remain easily and securely connected to business information. We are very pleased with the remote session speed improvements and new features that we have been able to introduce and know that users will be delighted with these latest changes to the I'm InTouch service. We will continue to enhance the service to ensure we meet the current and emerging needs of this growing mobile worker marketplace, " said Andrew Cheung, President and CEO. "With these latest service enhancements, we offer a reliable, cost-effective alternative to other solutions currently in the market. For users that do not have immediate access to a local computer, they can still use the Internet browser on their cellphone or wireless PDA to remotely access email, contact, calendar and file information. In this regard, our service provides the broadest range of remote access support. Users can remain in touch using any device connected to the Internet throughout their busy day."

I'm InTouch is implemented by installing enabling software on the PC that the user wishes to be able to remotely access, taking only a few minutes. The service automatically configures in network environments that have a firewall, eliminating the need to change existing network firewall settings. Using any computer connected to the Internet, a user goes to the I'm InTouch web page to remotely login and connect to their computer. The I'm InTouch locator technology locates the PC that the user has registered. After entering user specific login credentials to authenticate the remote session, a display of the distant PC's desktop is presented allowing full control of the PC, including the ability to re-boot. All remote sessions include Secure Socket Layer (SSL) 128 bit end-to-end encryption to protect data transmission.

I'm InTouch integrates with the lifestyles and work practices of a continuously growing number of mobile individuals in both their business and personal life. Traditionally, remote access to information has required deploying expensive laptops, implementing additional networking hardware or services, and a user being tied to a specific device for access. Now a small or medium sized business can choose to deploy I'm InTouch and provide the flexibility for any of their employees to be able to manage e-mail and complete work assignments from the convenience of their home computer, an available computer at a customers site, a hotel business center or Internet cafe. Existing laptop users can avoid some of the current hassles of having to lug a laptop home or through airport security checks by using their home computer or a wireless PDA to stay on top of their e-mail while away from the office. Improved employee morale, improved customer satisfaction and personal productivity gains are typical results for businesses deploying the I'm InTouch service.

I'm InTouch is available for purchase online at www.imintouch.net for $99.95 U.S. annually or $9.95 U.S. monthly. A free 30-day trial is available with unlimited remote access.
