Innovative Web Based Remote Access Service I'm InTouch™ To Be Introduced To Computer Users Worldwide Through Co-Marketing Agreement With ASUSTek of Taiwan

TORONTO, ON -August 26, 2003 -01 Communique Laboratory Inc. (TSX: ONE - www.01com.com), a leader in the development and delivery of integrated communications software and services, today announced that it has entered into a co-marketing partnership agreement with ASUSTek Computer Inc. of Taiwan (TSE:2357 www.asus.com), a world leader in the manufacturing and distribution of computer peripherals. Under the terms of the agreement ASUS will include 01 Communique's I'm InTouch remote access enabling software on the CD-ROM provided with each motherboard it distributes. The Companies will then share in revenue generated from customers who activate the I'm InTouch service from one of the CD-ROMs provided by ASUS.

I'm InTouch is a cost effective remote access and control service that allows business people to connect and interact with their home or office computer to access the information and essential business tools they need - from anywhere, anytime using any computer or wireless device with an Internet browser. The I'm InTouch remote access program is installed on the PC that the user wants to access and can be undertaken by anyone without any prior PC or networking knowledge required. Being a secure Web-based service, I'm InTouch eliminates the traditional need for client software to be installed on the remote access device. Once installed, any other computer on the Internet can be used to securely login and remotely control the PC running I'm InTouch. As well, a login from a wireless PDA or cell phone with Internet access supports viewing of e-mail, files, calendar and contact info, with I'm InTouch rendering the information so that it can be easily read and managed from the screen and keyboard of the device. I'm In Touch's unique integration with the host PC's desktop e-mail client, allows notification of new e-mail being received at the desktop to be sent to a wireless device so that the user may login and respond immediately. This unique technology approach means that all remote actions are processed and synchronized by the desktop computer running I'm InTouch regardless of the remote device used. In essence the remote device becomes the active controller of the computer, making requests for information that are then fed back to the user over the Internet. Synchronization issues become a thing of the past.
